  1.   About Draggin' Viewer

  4.   Welcome to Draggin' Viewer, Shareware Version 1.00!  Draggin' Viewer
  5.   is a drag & drop text file viewer utility for Microsoft Windows, 
  6.   Version 3.1. (Sorry, this application will not work with Windows 3.0
  7.   or earlier.)  It appears as an icon on the Desktop.  Select one or more
  8.   text or Windows Write file names in the Windows File Manager.  Drag the 
  9.   names to the Draggin' Viewer icon, and the files will be opened for 
  10.   viewing or editing in Windows Notepad or Write, depending on their size
  11.   and extension. (Notepad is limited to files of less than about 50500 bytes.) 
  12.   Options for Draggin' Viewer are accessed by clicking on the icon and 
  13.   selecting an item from the system menu.

  16.   Installation
  17.   ------------

  19.   The self-extracting file you just ran, DRAGGN.EXE, contains this file 
  20.   and the file DVV100S.EXE. Copy DVV100S.EXE to a temporary directory, 
  21.   and execute it.  It will create the following files:

  29.   Copy DRAGGIN.EXE to your Microsoft Windows default directory, normally
  30.   named \WINDOWS. SYSMENU.DLL is a support file for Draggin' Viewer; copy it
  31.   to your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. I recommend the use of the Windows File
  32.   Manager for these tasks, and would NOT overwrite a file of the same name 
  33.   but with later dates.

  35.   Windows Write and Windows Notepad must be in a directory in your DOS path
  36.   for Draggin' Viewer to function properly.

  38.   One additional support file is required to use Draggin' Viewer: 
  39.   VBRUN100.DLL. If you run any other Visual Basic programs, you have this
  40.   file, probably in your \WINDOWS or \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.  Otherwise,
  41.   VBRUN100.DLL is available on the same BBS or on-line system where you 
  42.   obtained DRAGGN.EXE.

  44.   To execute Draggin' Viewer, add its icon to a Program Manager Program 
  45.   Group, or click on DRAGGIN.EXE in File Manager.

  47.   NOTES ABOUT THIS VERSION
  48.   ------------------------

  50.   1.  Draggin' Viewer is a drag & drop client.  It is especially recommended
  51.       to load it with the File Manager.  This can be accomplished by adding
  52.       DRAGGIN.EXE, separated by a space, to the Program Manager command line
  53.       for the File Manager (WINFILE.EXE).  See your Program Manager
  54.       documentation.

  56.   2.  Draggin' Viewer defaults to "Always On Top" mode.  This keeps it
  57.       visible when another window covers it.  If you are annoyed by holes
  58.       in your maximized documents, toggle "Always On Top" off by clicking
  59.       the system menu option.

  61.   3.  Close Draggin' Viewer by clicking on "Close" from the system menu.
